About Debbie

My name is Debbie Campbell, I was born and raised in Liverpool and now live in Redditch, Worcestershire. I am a single Mum to two adult children and a cavalier spaniel called Meg. My working history has been varied and has led me to meet and work with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

Like many people, I have experienced the pain of loss and when I had to choose someone to officiate my sister’s funeral, I wanted someone to talk about her life, capture her essence and vibrant spirit. My sister was a one off and the person I chose to conduct her service was a Civil Celebrant, they gave my sister the farewell she would have loved and duly deserved. It was at that point that I felt this was a calling for me to become a Funeral Celebrant as everyone deserves to have their loved one remembered in a way that they wished. I knew I would love to be that person.

Since completing my training to be a Funeral Celebrant and becoming a member of the AOIC (Association of Independent Celebrants) I have had the privilege of meeting some wonderful families and helped them to create a celebration for their loved one. I am also a Spiritualist and can officiate at Spiritualist funerals if requested.

Once I am appointed by a Funeral Director, I will make a call to my client to introduce myself and then we would make an appointment to have a chat and gather information about your loved one. We will then create together a bespoke celebration of life for them. Helping to choose the music, a poem, reading or even helping you write your own eulogy. I am there to support you.
